We finally got the chance to meet baby Maya in Madison! We definitely had to fight to get there, since I-90 was closed at the Dells and we took a 3 hour detour to get to her - but we made it! The boys did a remarkable job in the car, by the way - even better than mom and dad. I'm a very proud aunt of our sweet beautiful niece. Eli and Jack were equally excited to meet their new cousin!

I have no political comment, as tonight, I am relaxing by Sweet Baby Eli upstairs in your guest room, Erin, as he sleeps so adorably and peacefully, and my Big Cutie-pie Jack is finishing up downstairs playing with Grampy, as he has taken to calling Dad. It is bedtime soon and it has been yet another lovely day with you, Erin, and the Grands ( I was thinking of Benny and the Jets, as Jack likes to sing). It was a most wonderful weekend to have the 3 JEMS together for the first time at Sara and Mark's and I will cherish it forever. We are blessed by them all, and by you Big Kids, aka The Rents, as well.
P.S. Lay off the coffee - HaHa!
